2010 HARVEST EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Our 2010 olive harvest has seen the introduction of
our new oil processing machine here at the grove. We
are now able to produce our oil on-site. This allows
our olives to be processed immediately after picking
to ensure freshness and quality control. We are
delighted with the results of this year’s crop.
The current season’s oil, harvested in June 2010,
comprises two different oils for you to choose from,
in bottles, tins or ‘on tap’ for visitors to the
grove. We also produce a range which we have infused
with natural flavours – delicious for salads, pasta,
roasting, drizzling and dipping.
FRANTOIO/LECCINO – a blend of two of the fine
Tuscan originated varietals – medium oil of
distinctive fruitiness and light peppery finish –
beautifully textured, smooth oil suitable for all
manner of cooking, drizzling or dressing your
favourite foods.
KORONEIKI – a Greek origin varietal with more
robust characteristics- quite peppery for those who
enjoy an intensively full- flavoured oil – an
exciting addition to all foods, particularly when
cooking meat dishes.
INFUSED OILS
– lemon, lime, blood orange, lemon myrtle,
ginger, garlic, herb & garlic, chilli.

Inverleigh is
approximately 26 km west from central Geelong in Southern Victoria.
Take the Hamilton Highway west from Ryrie Street Geelong through
Fyansford. From Melbourne, take the Geelong By-pass ring road (A1)
and continue to the Hamilton exit. Take this exit along the Hamilton
Highway which will take you to Inverleigh. This route is a popular,
quieter alternative road, when travelling from Melbourne to the
Otways, Great Ocean Road, Port Fairy and the Western District. |
